Ken was my student in the mid-carer Master's program at Johns Hopkins-SAIS. We bonded instantly and his book on Chile started as a paper he wrote in my course. I will always treasure the evenings spent in his home, the wonderful dinner parties, and his loyal and warm friendship. I send all my love to Beatriz Elena and Eddie.
